This course is designed to allow you the opportunities to explore and develop a variety of skills relating to Art, Craft and Design.
The unendorsed aspects of the course encourage you to take a personal, creative and imaginative approach to you Art and Design Studies.
The course is taught for four hours a week in specialist studios and work spaces.
50% Art Portfolio (Controlled Assessment)
50% Art Portfolio (Exam)
College Entry Requirements and a grade 5 in GCSE Art.
You want to seek employment in architecture / 3D design / textiles and jewellery design / graphic design and illustration / art history and theatre design etc. A-Level Art can give opportunities to study more specialist areas of Art and Design at a higher level.
You enjoy being creative and have an interest in all aspects of Art, Craft and Design.
